History:

Pratishan (Paithan) was the capital of Satvahanas. All the roads in the state go to the capital. Therefore, the market of Aasa village on this road has flourished. In the later period, the capital of Chalukya, which was dominated by this region, was in Badami, during which time this fort was built. After this, the rule of the ruling party of the nation, Chalukya (Kalyani) and Devgiri was on this part. Vikramaditya's Shaka 1150 is mentioned in Aamsa Fort at Tamrapat in Borgaon.
After the end of the Yadavas, the fort was greatly valued during the Bahamani period. 9th King Mahmudshah Bahamani of the Bahamani family, on 22 September 1422, took the capital of Gulbarga to Bidar. Bidar is a place of capital, hence the importance of castor has increased. Mahmudshah Bahamani gave Kesim Baridla a fort for Udgir, Ausa, Kandahar, in 142 AD. In 1526, the kingdom of Bahmani was dissolved and 5 kingdoms emerged.Among them, Sulaiman Qasim Barid of Ouda established Barid Shahi. Uddur, Ausa, Kandahar were the main forts of the state of Biddashahi in Bidar. In the subsequent period, there were many battles against Adilshah. Mughal emperor Shah Jahan won the fort of Ausa in September 1636, and he appointed Mubarak Khan as the fort.

After the conquest of Baridhahi, this fort was ruled by Adilshahi, Mughal, Marathe and finally Nizam. During this three centuries, the only important battle at Udgir was On 3 February 1760, between Marathe and Nizam. This battle was led by Sadashivrao (brother) Peshwa. They defeated the Nizam of this battle in the battle. He was then handed over the leadership of the War of the Panipat. At that time the fort was captured by the Marathas. After the defeat of the Maratha Panipat war, the Nizam again won the fort. Later, after the independence of Hyderabad, this fort was under the control of the Nizam until the British settled in India.

Important notice: - Emperor Marathwada, Ausa, Solapur, Naldurg are under the control of the Archaeological department and there are staffs for the fort.
Near the entrance of the fort, there is a complete notification panel for archaeological department. The following instructions are written on it.
1) The fort will remain open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
2) It is necessary to get written permission from the archaeological department to see the fort.
3) Photography is prohibited in the fort.

There are two things that seem to have been mentioned here.
1) The Marathwada Archaeological Survey Office is located in Aurangabad. Visitors from Mumbai, Pune or any other place can not get written permission from Aurangabad. Because he does not know how to look for the fort in Maharashtra, he does not even know till the fort and no one will go to Aurangabad to look for the forts and then do not waste his time and money by doing a Draviya to get here. The local people of the village, however, bring their cows, cattle, goats and unemployed to the fort.

2) Today, there are clear images of the fort from Google, the canvas of the fort, can be seen in Vatu, so why is it a code to ban the photograph?
For the above rules, the staff only hang out. Money is asked for the fort and for camera (for photography). Then reduce the money when you consume it. Archaeological department does not have the money to see the fort, because the cost of the fort, the repair, the employees' salaries, the money is required. In many states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and in the south, tickets have to be withdrawn to see the fort. In some places, separate tickets have to be made for photographing. If the ticket is set to see these forts in this way, both of these tourists and archeological accounts will benefit. Because the traveler will not have to cheat with the money demanders and the account will get the money. However, the tourists going to the fort should note the above mentioned things.
