      Sahyadri's North-South Range goes east to Thalghat from Igatpuri area. This line is called Kalsubai Range. This queue falls into two parts. One is Alang, Madan, Kulang and Kalsubai, while the eastern Aunda, Patta, Bitangad, Aad, Mhasoba mountain. Due to trees, the entire area is deserted. However, due to the convenience of ST and heavy rainfall, rural life has become very pleasant. The part of the fort of Aunda is a cone.The Aunda fort lies on the southwest of Sinnar taluka of Nashik district and 10 miles south of Deolali.

History:

This fort was in Maratha kingdom till 1688 AD. After that he conquered the Mughals. Here the Mughal commander Shyamsingh was appointed as the chief officer.

The fort of Aundh is a cone. This fort is like a small fort. It was used for watching.There are four tanks on the fort. There is water in a cave. There is an excavated door in the rock. Distance to reach:

There are two ways to reach the Aunda fort.
1) via Anonymous: -
Go to Igatpuri via Mumbai. From Igatpuri bus station, take the ST bus to Bhagur at 7.00 in the morning and usually reach the Kadva Colony Naka at a distance of one and a half hour. From this colony, your footpath starts.After crossing the colony, there is a lot of damages. After reaching the wall of the dam (usually within 45 minutes from Naik) we reach the village of Anne. There are two ways to get to Ananda fort from Annevi village.
    The first route goes through the vertical cliffs visible in front of the village. This wait is quite tiring. The second route is by going to the second Hanuman temple in the Annevi village. This way is less tiring, but it is more time consuming than the first one. This route takes forty five hours to reach the plateau. On this plateau, Aunda looks like a cone of the fort. From here it takes half an hour to go to the fort for the fort.There are steps taken in the corner in front of the wall. After climbing the stairs, on the right side of the stove, you can reach the top of the stove in a small steep slope.

2) Via Patta Fort: -
Many people track Aunda-Patta-Bitangad as well. To reach the fort from the Aunda fort, return to the plateau with the steps of the fort on the way above. A saffron flag is seen flowing in front of the plateau, the path going forward from here goes directly to the fort.

Accommodation Facility:

There is no lodging facility on the fort, it can be accommodated in Aundhavadi. If you have a trek from Aunda - Patta, then see the Aunda and catch the stove in the cave on the fort.

Food Facility:

There is no lodging facility on the fort. You should do it yourself.

Water Facility:

Drinking water is also available in Baramati on the fort.

Time to go:

It takes 2 hours via Ananya and 2 hours via Patta fort.

July to February
