Around the middle of Ratangad and Harishchandragad in the range of Balaghat, "Ajaparvata" alias "grandfather's hill" sounds like an ancient man. Arriving from the Dehane (the first walk given below) to the Ashram of Valmiki, you should arrive in half an hour. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours to go from Dehane to Valmiki Rishi's ashram. From there, it takes 1 to 1.5 hours to reach the safety of Sita.
