Dhak Bahiri Fort Information  


Dhak Bahri is a fort in the Sandshi village of Raigad district. Dhaka is an extremely difficult and difficult fort at the height of 2700 ft 823 meters from the decked sea level. History

   This fort is dedicated to the Gods of the Thakur tribal people who are devout deaf and therefore he is called Dhak Bahri. The great historian, Mr. Gopal Nilkant Dandekar, invented Dhaka Bahri. Residents are trying to save the religious history of the fort.

 In fact, Dhak Bahri is a cave. In the cave's den, the deafness is a trapped stone. The deaf was used to guard the area around the rajamachi.

1) Horseshoe cave / 3 cave group:

Three caves are dug in the stomach above the top of the fort. To reach this place, you have to cross the hard line.There are 2 large tanks of water. In these tanks, the villagers kept some utensils for lunch. After eating it, wash the utensils and keep them again in this tank. On top of the cave, there is a half-thousand feet pebbles. In front of the cave, two mounds of Rajmachi's Shrivardhan and Manranjan are seen. From here onwards, there is a vast neighborhood of Nagphani, Prabalgad, Karnala and Matheran. There is no residue in the other, whereas the 3rd floor is in a partially excavated position.

2) The fort of Dhaka: - There is only one tank on water for this fort. There are no remaining residues.

3) Kalakarai peak

This is a famous place on the fort which is the highest point of the summit with the mountain range. It is compulsory to climb peak trekking rope and equipment. To reach the summit, there is a way to the left side of the point.

Dak Bahi can sing for about 2-3 hours from the main village of the fort (Sandshi)

At the end of the monsoon season go to the castle till the winter start.

Bus from Pune to Dhaka Bay
1) Local transport is available from Pune to ST (State Transport) bus, Volvo, Karjat, which is 99 km away from Pune, six seats from Karjat to ST (State Transport) bus and original village of Bhakri Fort. (Sandy)

2) By Pune - Pune expressway can be reached from Lonavla to Lonavla, Karjat from Lonavla, then to Sandshi.

1) From Mumbai, there is a ST bus (State Transport) bus from Karjat, which is about 63 kms from Mumbai, ST (State Transport) bus from Karjat and six seater on the main village of Bhakri Fort. (Sandy)
